The Total Flush Glazed System consists of glass retained to main spanning rafters, using extruded aluminum retainers. EPDM glazing strips separate glass from aluminum above and below. Retainers are then wet-sealed in the field with high performance silicone and capped with a finished aluminum extrusion to conceal exterior fasteners.
For horizontal framing sections, glass is retained to the structure by using structural silicone sealant joints. This design creates a flush-glazed joint to eliminate water damming. A slide-in PVD glass stop is available for improved thermal performance, and condensation resistance. |
