In 1923, Walter Belau established Super Steel Products, a company which manufactured fireproof windows and hollow metal doors. In 1929, Belau integrated a skylight division. As the skylight division began to soar, Belau separated the division from Super Steel Products and established Super Sky Products. Shortly thereafter, Belau sold Super Steel Products to devote more time to his skylight business.
In the 1950s, Super Sky relocated to Mequon. Over the next decade, Super Sky Products’ business escalated to unparalleled levels. By 1967, Super Sky was forced to build a new facility to accommodate its booming business and dramatic growth.
Today, Super Sky’s facilities are over 115,000 square feet and our manufacturing floor consists of state of the art equipment operated by an experienced workforce.
For 90+ years, Super Sky has been the preferred architects choice for custom skylights and we look forward to many more years of supplying the highest quality skylights to the marketplace.
